Rolling with the punches can often create the most beautiful of love stories, if you let it! For Steven & Alex, that couldn't be more true. The couple first met on Hinge in 2019. They planned to meet at a local restaurant for their first date but upon arrival, Steven realized he'd forgotten his ID. The pair pivoted, deciding to go on a walk along the Kirkland, WA waterfront instead. They sat on the dock, sharing a bottle of wine, talking about life and watched the sunset. They shared their first kiss and now go back to that dock to sit and reminisce on the beginning of their love story.
When it came time for Steven to propose, he orchestrated an intimate family filled day to surprise Alex with a ring! Alex's family came to visit, telling her it was for nothing more than a family get together, when all along Steven had the perfect plan in place. They went for a family walk through the Japanese Gardens at the Seattle Arboretum. As they came across a small bridge, overlooking a pond full of Koi fish, Steven got down on one knee and asked Alex to marry him with their families close behind!
