Lia + Brandon

Love works in mysterious ways!

Lia and Brandon met when Lia's sorority sister, roommate, and, eventually, Maid of Honor, Ryann, invited Lia to a party her high school friend was throwing. Brandon, another high school friend of Ryann's, was also at the party. Lia and Brandon chatted for a little and Brandon asked her out to the movies. It took them three months to finally go on that movie date, but the rest is history!

On the first day of a week-long trip to the coast, Brandon and Lia (and their dog Buddy!) went for a walk on the beach at sunset. They talked about their future and the love they shared for each other. As they were on the beach right outside their rental house, Brandon got down on one knee and asked Lia to marry him. Of course she said yes!

Lia had always dreamed of the perfect dress shopping experience, and she was able to get just what she had wished for. Her entire wedding party was there to support her through the journey of wedding dress shopping. She had tried on several dresses and each had elements of what she had wanted, but nothing had everything. That is until her stylist, Lindsey, brought out one last dress, Julia Leigh #5860.

"I cried as soon as I had it on and I couldn't wait to show my friends and mom. Lindsey was amazing at helping me find my dream dress and veil and it was extra special because she's a good friend of mine!"

Lia and Brandon’s venue, a Girl Scout camp by day, was extra unique. The two were able to customize the space and transform it into the venue they had envisioned. They shared private vows and, surrounded by trees and loved ones, had a beautiful outdoor ceremony that did not leave anyone without a tear in their eye.

There is one moment that Lia and Brandon found extra special about their day.

"After the ceremony, we decided not to attend cocktail hour, and instead share a private moment to just enjoy the face that we were married! We drank champagne on the balcony of the lodge, overlooking the pond, and practiced our first dance a little."

To all of the brides-to-be, Lia's piece of advice is to remember that your wedding is about you and your partner–not anyone else.

"Friends and family have a lot of opinions and I'm here to tell you that none of them matter. Do whatever makes you happy! It's your day!"

We are so happy for Lia and Brandon, and wish them the happiest life together.
